Why ninety minutes

The session length is the practice.

A ten minute appointment is fine for a quick adjustment. It is not enough for layered, chronic, post traumatic, or post operative work. So we do not pretend it is.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is the Marshall Method?

The Marshall Method is a hands-on approach to musculoskeletal pain developed by William Marshall over thirty years across Sydney, Sweden, broader Europe and the USA. It draws on techniques from physiotherapy and chiropractic disciplines, delivered in long-form sessions ranging from forty five minutes to two hours, in Ulverstone, Tasmania.

Why are sessions ninety minutes long?

A typical Australian physio appointment runs ten to thirty minutes. Ninety minutes lets William assess properly, work through layers of compensation, and revisit areas as the body responds. The session length is the practice. Less time is a different service.

What conditions do you work with?

Five focus areas: physical trauma rehabilitation, work and sport related injuries, hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the on site chamber, sciatica alleviation, and post operative rehabilitation. If you are unsure whether your situation fits, call 0417 778 219 or use the concierge below.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required. You can book directly. If you have imaging, surgical notes, or a treatment plan from another practitioner, bring it. The session is by appointment only at 16 Marion Street, Ulverstone.

What is The Tank?

The Tank is the practice's on site hyperbaric oxygen chamber, used as part of recovery and rehabilitation work. There are conditions under which hyperbaric oxygen is not appropriate, so suitability is discussed before any session in the chamber. See the services page for indications and contraindications.
